Can YOU order 450 Legos, bar stools, and salon chairs, and call it "WORK"? I do!

In the world of theater and exhibit design, I often get to make some fun purchases in the name of business... Good thing my bookkeeper is the understanding type!

Here are some interactive tables we made for the temporary "Underground: History Beneath Your Feet" exhibit at the Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm, MN.

And a new Education Room that is one part of the permanent exhibit about agriculture that we are working on at the Red River Zoo in Fargo, ND (remainder of exhibit to be open in mid-July).

And, although there are no pictures of it in-action yet, I also picked up these fun salon chairs for a production of STEEL MAGNOLIAS that I designed and am building for SOAR theater in St. Michael, MN.

Theater colleagues... What are some of the most interesting purchases you have made in the name of the art?
